Ticked True on the last one? That was the right answer for years, and it is still printed in books written under the old regulations. It is 20 mSv now. Your book is not wrong about physics. It is wrong about the law.
Statement c is the trap that catches people who know the numbers. Equivalent-dose limits exist to prevent cataract, not cancer. The exam asks it that way on purpose.
